"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in worder that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people, and His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength He exerted when He raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come." -Ephesians 1:18-21 (NIV)
Family Moment
Share the words from today's verses' that stand out to you. God invites us to pray big prayers with the power and authority that comes from following Jesus. What does it mean to pray with authority? Declaring the promises of God is a great place to start. Go on a promise hunt through the Bible, e.g., He love you (Rom. 5:8), He hears you (Ps. 34:17), You are His child (John 1:12), and He will never leave you (Det 31:8). Invite everyone to find a promise of God.

- Did you know God gives us "incomparably great power" when we follow Him?
- The power described in Ephesians 1:19 is given so that we can follow God's plans and purposes on Earth. God wants to use us to do big things!
- Pray: "God, we want to see Your big plans happen on Earth. Use us to do big things, and let us see Your will being done. In Jesus' name, Amen."
