Dive into the Word

This is my prayer for you: that your love will grow more and more; that you will have knowledge and understanding with your love; that you will see the difference between good and bad and choose the good; that you will be pure and without wrong for the coming of Christ; that you will be filled with the good things produced in your life by Christ to bring glory and praise to God."  -Philippians 1:9-11 (ICB)

Family Moment

What stands our to you in Paul's prayer for the Philippians? Think about who God has placed in your life to encourage you and help you be ore like Jesus. This could be someone at church, a friend or even someone in your family. Draw or write a card for this person (or people) telling them how thankful you are for them. You may even want to include a verse from Philippians 1.

Let's Pray!

  1. Did you know we get to be "partners" in the gospel with other Christians who help teach us and encourage us? Who are your partners?
  2. Spend some time praying for adults who have been encouraging to you.
  3. Pray: "God, thank You for giving me teachers who lead me to You. Please bless my teachers and pastors. In Jesus' name, Amen."
