Several churches have been asked by the City of Casselberry to host their annual FUNtoberfest event taking place Saturday October 21 from 4-8 PM at Lake Concord Park (located behind the Casselberry Police Department building). The Storehouse will be joining approximately 5-7 other churches in facilitating the event which will include crafts, music, games, food, vendor tents, a photo backdrop (provided by our own Linda Wilson Photography), and a trunk or treat candy giveaway area.
Additionally there will be trained volunteers taking a simple survey intended to engage people in a conversation about spiritual matters and salvation.
Attendees will register and that information will be used to thank families for coming and letting them know that local churches made the event possible. A list of the churches and their service times will be included in the follow up materials.
FUNtoberfest draws approximately 2,000 people in 4 hours.
What an incredible opportunity to reach our community and demonstrate the love of God and start engaging them in conversations about salvation!
I am asking you to consider helping in the following ways-
  • Please pray that the Lord would allow us to be salt and light and open opportunities for the church to share the gospel and develop relationships with those attending.
  • Please bring new, unopened bags of candy to The Storehouse. We will use the candy for Trunk or Treat.
  • Please consider volunteering at the event. We estimate that it will take about 100 volunteers to make this work
If you are interested in volunteering, please register at this link-
